Power cable is a cable product used for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations for rated voltages from 1 to 35 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz in networks with isolated neutral, as well as in networks with grounded neutral and DC voltage networks. Power cables are available with one, two, three or four cores. The cores can be copper or aluminum, round, sector or segmented.
VBbShv power cable is used for laying: in the ground (trench) with low, medium or high corrosivity, with or without stray currents, and if during operation the cables are not subjected to significant tensile forces; in the air if there is a risk of mechanical damage during operation; for laying in dry or damp rooms (tunnels), channels, cable mezzanines, mines, collectors, industrial premises, partially flooded structures in the presence of an environment with weak, medium and high corrosive activity; for laying in fire hazardous premises; for laying in hazardous areas. Cables are designed for vertical, inclined and horizontal routes.
